NIRF Rank: IIT-Patna 51 in the ‘Overall’ category

Patna: India-Patna Institute of Technology (IIT-P) rose three notches in the “overall” category and secured 51st ranked in this country among higher education institutions according to the National Ranking Framework (NIRF) report released on Thursday.

The Institute’s rating in the “Engineering” category also increased from 26 in 2020 to 21 years.
IIT-P has scored 47.67 of the 100 in the “Overall Category”.
In the category of “Engineering”, he has scored 57.38 compared to 55.74 in 2020.
The institution also pocketed 47th rank in the category of “research” which was only introduced among the top 50 institutions in the country.

The institutional ranking framework throughout the country is carried out under five broad parameters – teaching, learning and resources (TLR), research and professional practices (Rp), graduation (GO), outreach (PR) and perception).
Ranking is assigned based on the total number of signs.
Rishi Raj, Associate Dean (resources) of IIT-P, said they have analyzed the performance of the Institute every year in various fields since 2006 and tried to find out where they were left behind.
“We focus more on research.
IIT-P needs to work more on two parameters – OI and perception,” he said.
Only four higher education institutions in Bihar who have found in the NIRF 2021 – IIT-P report in three categories, the National Institute of Technology-Patna (NIT-P) in the technical category, Chandragupta Institute Management-Patna (CIMP) in the management and patna category Women’s College (PWC) in the college category.

Nit-P has secured a rating of 72 with a score of 42.06.
The Institute has scored 54.46 in TLR, 24.3 in Rp.
