Lucknow: Four medical institutions rose to find a place among the 15 best performance centers in the country in the framework of the National Institutional Report of India for 2021.
Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Medical Institute (SGPGI) has been ranked fifth in this country with a score of 72.45.
Institute of Medical Sciences, University of Banaras Hindu, has been ranked 7th, the medical university of King George Lucknow is 9 and the Institute of Medical Sciences, the Muslim University of Aligarh is 15.
Compared to ranking 2020, SGPGI and IMS-AMU retained their spots, IMS-BHU slipped by one rank and kgmu rising one rank.
Each of the four centers despite increasing their overall score this year.

All 50 medical institutions in the government and private sectors are evaluated.
The ranking parameters are covered in head widely such as teaching, learning, and resources, research and professional practices, graduation results, outreach and inclusiveness and perception.
Among the dental institutions, the Faculty of KgMu’s tooth was ranked fifth in India, followed by IMS-BHU in the 25th place, IMS-AMU in place 26, Saraswati Dental College Lucknow in place 27, and a dental college and centered college hospital Greater Noida research on the 40th place.
In the category of dental, 40 colleges have participated.
Officials at the State Medical Education Department said that achievements were motivating but efforts to further improve their performance.
They say the state government is trying to encourage more medical institutes to participate in rankings that allow ability to assess.
A former Medical Education DG said the increase recorded by various medical education centers in the state was commendable but must be used to trigger the spirit of progress.
“SGPGI Lucknow, for example, more than 20 points behind AIIMS Delhi who have ranked the best.
However, the Institute is only three points from third place CMC Vellore.
Micro analysis can help identify the gap to encourage improvement,” he said.
