New Delhi: Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday attended the G20 High-level Independent Panel Meeting (HLIP) and shared Indian readiness and response to Covid-19 while highlighting the early changes to support the economy during a pandemic.
The meeting, which was held virtually, was also attended by Senior Minister of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam, former Secretary of the US Treasury Lawrence H Summers and Director General of World Trade Organization (WTO) Gozonjo-Iweala, Ministry of Finance tweeted.
The meeting discussed the panel work which will be presented during the meeting of the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank (FMCBG) which will be held later this month.
