Nagpur: Trust Repair Nagpur (NIT) has been seeking changes in ordering Public Playground and Public Utilities (PU) Land Nelco Gruhnirman Sahakari Sanshtha, allegedly to distribute PU land to builders.
Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has begun the process of changing reservations, quoting the tribal girls hostel proposed by NIT.
However, NIT officials said they had developed two tribal girl hostels, and there were no proposals for the other.
Toi has been on September 4 report the NMC beginner process to change the order of 1.24 hectares of playground in the layout in Trimurti Nagar at Mouza Parsodi quoting the tribal Girls hostel proposed Nit.
Civic’s body invited suggestions and objections to the proposal to change the order of PU land from parking to housing.
PU land is 0.4 hectares (43,056 sq ft), with a reservation change proposed for 0.33 hectares (36,199 sq ft) to housing, and the remaining 0.067 hectares (7,212 square feet) land left as parking.
In a letter to NMC, Nit himself said a woman demanded booking.
According to the norm, NMC, as a planning authority, must study the proposal before starting the process.
But there is no research conducted, said NMC source.
Resident Layout Janardhan Sonkusre told Tii, “Nit wants to hand over the land of our layout to the builder.
We got a compound wall built from the NMC fund and save PU land from encroachment.
We raise money from plot owners and guaranteed developments for running and fitness activities .
There is no norm to share PU land into individuals.
PU land belongs to the entire layout.
“He said the NMC had to override the ongoing process and instead of changing reservations in Public Works from parking to parks or playgrounds, and nit had to develop it because it has collected development costs.
Sonkusre said the woman mentioned in letter NIT had a plot adjacent to PU land.
“He complained that he got less land from Nit because of the tangent.
Therefore, he demanded PU land,” he said.
The visit to the plot revealed that the female plot had a builder – Badal Mateey, with a board that showed the proposed construction site.
Matey denied the plan to take over PU land.
“Nit with an error imposed a parking booking on the woman’s plot, which was in mine.
Therefore, we asked for NIT to change the reservation at the plot.
We have nothing to do with PU land,” he said.
Kota Commissioner Radhakrishnan B said the right study would be done before making a decision.
Nit officials said they submitted a proposal to NMC, and the decision of the vest with NMC.
Nit officials told Tii proposals to develop tribal Girls Hostel in Playground was in 2013, and hostels had been built in two other places.
Today, there are no proposals for Tribal Girls Hostels who are delayed with NIT.
The owner of the layout plot said the NMC had to put aside the process to immediately change the reservation.
