Trichy: National Institute of Technology, Trichy will open a legacy center to show history and achievement of the institution, said Director Nit Dr.
Mini Shaji Thomas on Saturday.
“The inheritance center will soon become a reality that shows off our history and heritage,” the director said while speaking on the occasion of the 58th Institute’s Day.
The 58-year Institute covers years when it is known as the Regional Engineering College (REC).
The proposed heritage center in the Administrative Block will have a collection of awards, rare photos of old buildings, famous alumni images and even old-fashioned devices used at the Institute.
