New Delhi: Mission Innovation Atil Niti Aayog in collaboration with ISRO and CBSE has launched ‘Space Challenge’ for school students throughout India, an official statement to say on Friday.

This challenge has been designed for all school students, mentors and teachers throughout the country who are not only associated with schools that have a Tinkering Labs (ATL) laboratory but for all non-ATL schools too.
“The innovation mission (AIM), Niti Aayog in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and the Central Secondary Education Council (CBSE) managed to launch the Challenge of the ATL 2021 room for all school students throughout the country,” said the statement.

It is to ensure that grade 6 to 12 students are given an open platform where they can innovate and allow themselves to solve digital space technology problems, he added.
The challenge of ATL Space 2021 is parallel to the World Space Week 2021 which is being observed from October 4-10 every year at the global level to celebrate the contribution of space science and technology.
AIM Mission Director Chintan Vaishnav said the purpose of this challenge was to enable innovation among young school students to create something in the space sector that would not only help them learn about space but created something that could be used by the space program itself.
The Director Development Program Office (ISRO) Sudhir Kumar said, “We are proud to work with AIM and CBSE to launch this challenge where students can explore space with creative freedom.”
CBSE Chairman Manoj Ahuja said that the ATL Space Challenge 2021 has great potential in terms of allowing children to come up with ideas and have an environment where they can see their ideas turned into reality through the aimed, ISRO and CBSE ecosystems provide through This challenge.
Under the mission of innovation atal, Aayog runs initiatives such as Atal and ATL incubation centers to promote entrepreneurship and innovation.
