Nitie, Mumbai has launched a global online certification course about the transformation of the end-to-end supply chain through digitalization

The chaos of Coronavirus has clarified that digitizing the supply chain becomes less than a dream and more than a must for companies to stay feasible and competitive.
The National Institute of Industrial Engineering (Nitie), Mumbai, a leading institution of management studies, has launched a global online certification course on the ‘end-to-end supply chain transformation through digitalization in collaboration with Prof.
David Simchi-Levi from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
This course was launched under the center of Nitie’s advantage in logistics management and supply chains.
Inaugurated by Shri Piyush Goyal (Minister of Trade & Industry, Consumer & Food Affairs & Public Distribution and Textiles, Indian Governments), this center will act as a driving force to train and launch high-quality programs to spread advanced knowledge and promote digitalization, analytics applications , and IoT.
This is a course of only a 20 hour weekend, specifically designed for, industry professionals and supply chain fans to help them create value for business by aligning their business goals with their supply chains.
This course introduced a unique framework of Professor Simchi-Levi which combines three technological trends, digitalization, analytics, and automation, to rediscover the supply chain and integrate it with “physics law.” Participants will get an in-depth understanding of the application of critical supply chain trends to improve efficiency, profitability, and growth, and insights on the processes needed to increase supply chain visibility, flexibility, and resilience.
Participants will also get the opportunity to interact directly with Prof.
David Simchi Levi, one year of exclusive digital access for course participants for the latest edition of reference books “designing and managing supply chains: concepts, strategies, and case studies” by Prof.
David Simchi-Levi, and exposure to events recently in various industries through a tiring case study.
