The National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai, Was Chosen by MIC/AICTE for hosting Toycathon 2021 Grand Finale, an Occasion conducted by Govt.

Of India to market indigenous toy market.
Approximately 10 teams from other parts of India have confirmed their involvement.
Founded upon PM Modi’s’Vocal for Neighborhood’ at Toy Industry, Ministry of Education mooted the Concept of all multi-track nation-wide inter-ministerial toycathon.
The Toycathon 2021 has been organised jointly by Ministry of Education in communicating with five different Ministries viz: Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises, and also Ministry of Textiles.

They mostly concentrated on designing toys for children old group 0-3 decades and 4-10 decades.
Track two for Senior Level Participants i.e., faculty and students in Higher education associations.
This class focused on creating theories for 0-3 decades, 4-10 and 11 decades and over.

Due to the security of participants and students that the Actual Toycathon was postponed and today just Digital Hackathon has been ran in 22nd June 2021 into 24th June 2021 because of existing Covid 19 pandemic.
The electronic Toycathon has received a phenomenal response from eager innovators and 1567 chosen teams will be engaging nearly through 85 Nodal Centres.
Throughout the grand finale the chosen teams will almost show their toys in the front of Jury panel consists of Specialists by premier institutes.
The teams are going to get training from experts throughout the hackathon and groups might need to increase their toys/games according to specialist suggestions.
