Gandhinagar: Minister of Transportation Jalan Union Nitin Gadkari on Friday urged the Gujarat government and other state governments to prevent diesel buses because this is harmful to the environment and public health.
Urge the country to go for vehicles that can run on other electricity and green fuel, Gadkari says India must choose original fuel.
“We must decide that this country will run on clean and customary fuel, not on gasoline and diesel (ISS DESH MEIN gasoline-diesel Nehin Chalega, Disha Fuel Chalega),” he said at the peak of investors where the vehicle’s policy was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Gadkari also asked why we did not reduce gasoline and diesel imports despite knowing the adverse effects on human health.
The minister said now a lot of work is happening to increase the electricity production of solar energy and wind, ethanol, methanol and hydrogen.
Previously on that day, Modi also said it was ethanol, hydrogen fuel or electrical mobility, with this government’s priority, industrial active participation was very important.
“From R & D to infrastructure, this industry must increase its partnership,” he said.
PM also asked them to have a road map for Aatmnirbhar Bharat for the next 25 years.
Modi on Thursday led a high-level meeting on hydrogen potential which utilized as fuel in the country.
He has asked the officers to work on the plan.
