New Delhi: The National Congress Party (NCP) Supremo Sharad Pawar on Saturday praised the transportation minister of Jalan Union Nitin Gadkari to use power effectively to develop.
Both leaders from rival parties share Dais on a function in Ahmednagar Maharashtra.
“I attended this function because I was told that Gadchari would inaugurate many projects in Ahmednagar who would solve the problems of the city that was delayed for a long time, and he wanted me to attend,” Pawar said.
The NCP leader said that we had seen very often that nothing happened so the stone laying ceremony lasts for a project, but when it comes to the Gadkari project, within a few days of the function repassed to work.
“Gadkari is a great example of how representatives can work for the development of the country,” Pawar added.
“I remember that before Gadkari took this responsibility (from the Ministry of Road Transportation and Highway), around 5,000 Km work was done.
But after he took over, the figure had passed 12,000 km,” said Head of NCP.
Gadkari, while overcoming the event during the implementation of road projects at Buldhana District of Maharashtra, the National Highway Authority (NHAI) also rigid river and local flow.
“I recommend (Maharashtra Minister of Rural Development) Hasan Mushrif to think of focusing on water conservation in Ahmednagar Regency,” he said.
