Nagpur: Minister Guardian Nitin Raut has directed Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and special purpose vehicles (SPV) from the City Smart project – Smart Nagpur and Sustainable Development Corporation Limited (NSSCDCL) – to ignore more than RS 1,000 Crore in repair costs to recover from the affected person (PAPS) and the owner of the plot.
Project work can be accelerated if the direction of the expression is implemented but will produce enormous financial losses.
To overcome this problem, the expression arranged a meeting between PAPs, plot owners and NMC officials, including Commissioner of Radhakrishnan B, NSSCDCL and Collector R Vimala on Monday.
Corporate Corporator Pressurhe Gudadhe led the delegation of the PAPs.
“The SPV takes 100% of the land from the owner.
It maintains 40% of the land developed without compensation and returns 60% to the owner.
In addition to taking over 40% of the soil, the SPV collects a repair fee of Lakh on PAPs for 60% of the land.
This is injustice for Unfortunate people.
The expression also agreed that it was a big loss for the people and officials who were directed at starting the process to let go of repair, “Gudadhe Toi said.
Raut directs the Head of the Civil and CEO of NSSCDCl Buvaneshwari S to discuss and make decisions at the Board of Directors meeting as soon as possible and submit a report to the state government to be approved.
The owner of the plot located in the 1.730 hectare proposal – Mouza City-Mouza Pardi, Bharatwada, Banhandewadi and Plantur in East Nagpur stand if the government revised his norm.
Project costs around Rs 3,303 Crore.
The central and state government only provides Rs 750 Crore.
NSSCDCL must manage the remaining funds from the cost of repairs and land sales to be developed under the land collection system.
The PAPs present at the meeting also demanded compensation for 40% of their land.
But also the expression and Gudadhe did not give direction in this matter.
In 2016, the center has chosen Nagpur as one of the cities for the SMART city mission project.
There is no concrete that occurs in the last six years.
NSCDCL has also proposed to recover regularization costs from unauthorized plots and buildings.
NSSCDCL has also proposed to recover costs to provide additional floor space index (FSI) and other benefits for the plot owner.
