PATNA: Today, minimal 33.3% seats from most medical and engineering schools in Bihar are earmarked for ladies.
In a radical decision, CM Nitish Kumar on Wednesday ordered the officers of their science & engineering and the medical & health education sections to take essential measures to book minimum 33.3percent seats for women in the time of entry in all technology and medical schools.

The CM also examined two proposed campuses, to be put within the next semester of this state assembly for establishing two universities solely for medical and engineering science flows.
Following enactment of this suggested bidder, all technology schools throughout the nation would be regulated by the projected’Bihar Engineering University’, although medical schools of the country from the projected’Bihar University of Medical Sciences.’ The country now has 38 government-run engineering schools while 17 engineering schools from the private industry.
These schools will come under the purview of this projected Bihar Engineering University.
Bihar now has nine authorities and six personal medical schools.
Works are moving on to open 11 more medical schools throughout the country.
These medical schools would come under the purview of this projected’Bihar University of Medical Sciences.’ Apart from both of these brand new schools, the Nitish government also proposed to put up two new universities — one every exclusively for the sport industry and another for culture & art.
