Patna: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Tuesday welcomed the Union 2022-23 budget presented by Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman and called it a “balanced budget”.
“Over the past two years, the country’s development has been affected because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This center has taken several steps to accelerate the speed of development to bring the country out of a detrimental situation, which should be praised.
I congratulate the government trade union to present the budget Balanced, “said Nitish Kumar.
“The decision of the union government to build large-scale infrastructure in the country is also commendable,” he said in a statement.
CM also said that the Bihar government has developed an organic agricultural corridor from its resources in 13 districts located in both Ganges River Banks.
“In this year’s Union budget, it has been decided to develop a natural agricultural corridor in a stretch of 5 kilometers on the edge of the Ganges.

He further said, “In this budget, it has also been decided to increase the volume of procurement of rice and wheat.
Farmers will greatly benefit from this decision.” Bihar CM also praised the announcement to build a new 80 lakh house under the Pradhan Mantri Beware of Yojana.
Nitish said that the state government will get more funds from the center as part of the central tax this year and the following year.
“This will reduce the financial difficulties of the state government and provide assistance to countries,” he said.
