Nitish Kumar questioned the Niti assessment method

Patna: Questioning the Niti Aayog Assessment System, CM Nitish Kumar on Monday said Bihar about the date cannot be compared to the Richest State of Maharashtra State.
“Is it worth comparing the country’s richest country with the poorest country?” He asked.
Reacit to the latest Niti Aayog performance assessment report on the ‘district hospital in India’, where Bihar has been shown among the worst performing countries in several categories, Nitish says he is not aware of how and through it they assess work.
“Bihar has done many things to improve the health sector since people gave us a mandate to work in the state.
We bring a phenomenal increase in providing medical facilities.
But Niti Aayog conducts a similar assessment of many countries throughout the country.
I have raised these problems (related to the wrong assessment) in the meeting of the Niti Aayog past, “Nitish said as he responded to media requests after the Janata Darbar program on Patna.
Expressing displeasure of poor rating Bihar in the latest Aayog report at the District Hospital, said Nitish, “You (Niti Aayog) must know the latest facts before conducting an assessment.
How can you compare the country’s richest country with the poorest? Is this the method that is Right to do an assessment to find out about something? “He also said the government would soon send a point-wise reply to Aayog about what they had published in the assessment report.
Given the poor condition of the hospital in Bihar before he came to power in 2005, Nitish said very few people used to appear in government hospitals for care.
“But after we got the opportunity to serve people, the number of patients in different hospitals swelled thousands,” he said.
CM also said that if he had the opportunity to attend the Formal Niti Aayog meeting in the future, he would once again increase all these problems.
