Patna: Cm Nith Kumar on Monday asked the Secretary of the Head to make arrangements to hire all ‘nyay mitras’ who have stopped working because of an increase in the gram of panchayats to Nagar Panchayats.
A woman from Chausa Gram Panchayat in Buxar District informed CM during the Janata Darbar program that she could not work as a ‘nyay partner’ after Pancrayat was increased to ‘Nagar Panchayat’.
A ‘nyay partner’ is employed in the Village Court to help people who are illiterate under the Pancayati system Raj.
He urged CM to adjust the ‘work’ in another department.
Taking his complaint seriously, Nitish asked the main secretary to see all such cases and make arrangements for their work.
Meanwhile, CM could not stop his smile when a retired Principal of Inter College in Gopalganj District urged him to get his village to join Uttar Pradesh.
Yogendra Mishra told CM that his village was near the Bihar-Uttar Pradesh border in the Gopalganj district.
When Nitish asked if there was no way (approach) in his village, Mishra Septuagenarian answered: “No, you already have a road built into my village.” When CM asked him what the problem was, the man answered: “Kushinagar Regency (above) is only 1 km from my village.
My village’s geographical location clearly shows that it must be part of Kushinagar Regency, not Bihar.
Therefore, I ask you To make the village I join.
“Nitish was really confused for a moment after hearing the demand for the Principal of retirees.
When Mishra once again repeated his request, CM could not stop his smile and asked his office staff to take him to senior officials of the road construction department.
Nitish heard complaints at all 123 applicants in Janata Darbar and sent their application to the relevant senior department official.
