Mangaluru: National Institute of Karnataka Karnatakal Technology will revive students’ counseling facilities, which are placed in the backburner because of a pandemic.
This development came after a BTECH student was found depending on the institutional dormitory room on Sunday.
Counseling facilities on campus for students are available to covid induced stalls announced, and classes are shifted into online mode.
Director Nitk K U Umaheshwar Rao said, “We will reach students and ask them to speak with our advisors, or receive help for any problems.” The institution has one full-time counselor at the health center, and has an additional counselor from a private hospital that visits the Institute.
