Nlsiu temporary list, cutoff rank for Karnataka Merit students is 237

Bengaluru: List of temporary candidates chosen for five-year integrated LLB program at the National Law School of India University (NLSII), Bengaluru, Exit and Cutoff Clat 2021 The All-India rating for General Merit is 80.
However, Cutoff ranks for candidates of Karnataka domicile General under 25% horizontal reservation, which has been introduced for the first time this year, is 237.
Students who are looking for seats under the domicile quota must be studied in Karnataka for at least 10 years.
The batch consists of 120 seats, the 93 is for general services, 18 for SCS and 9 for STS.
Under 25% of horizontal reservations, 30 seats – 23 for general services, five for SCS and two for STS – are intended for Karnataka students.
State Topper Rishab Devaiah Ittira, who pocketed the All-India rank 14, is the first candidate from Karnataka to search the list and have been given a seat under all-Indian quota.
While the 84th All-India ranking holder was the first to get a seat under the domicile of Karnataka quota under the services of General, students with the entire India 237 ranking had landed the last seat.
The All-India Rank 1037 holder has landed seats under the quota of Domicile Karnataka and Disabled Persons (PWD) in the General Merit category.
As expected, most of the top rankings have chosen NLSIU.
Except for rank 24, 35, 65, 69, 74 and 78, all the others in the top 80 in the reward list for Bengaluru law schools.
While the All-India cutoff ranking for SCS was 2112, it was 4614 for Karnataka students from this category.
Cutoff rating for STS is 2659 and 10430 for Karnataka students from the category.
Cutoff Rank is 1936 for PWD candidates in the general list of merit.
Ordering 25% horizontal compartment for Karnataka students was introduced after a long legal fighting and battle.
The Supreme Court still heard an appeal against a high quote Karnataka which upholds the domicile quota but has refused to do it.
The first list was temporarily released by the NLU consortium on its website.
Allotment was made on the basis of preferences-preferences expressed by candidates in their form of counseling.
Orientation for a new batch of five-year integrated LLB program starts on Monday and will continue until Friday.
Virtually detained sessions and aim to familiarize students with academic and social activities in NLSIU.
