Nagpur: Contemplating that the coming monsoon period, NMC has included umbrellas, raincoats and plastic sheets from the list of key products. Shops associated with repair or sale of plastic sheets, tarpaulins or raincoats will probably be permitted to stay available from 7am to 11am. The new arrangement will stay in force until June 1. On May 17 and May 24, Maharashtra government issued directions to deal with umbrella, raincoats, plastic sheets essential products before the monsoon season. In 2020 also, the authorities had taken a major conclusion and permitted sale of those posts during lockdown. A senior civic officer explained that these shouldn’t be standalone stores coping with raincoats, umbrellas . This means any store can sell these things during given time.
