Nagpur: For the fifth time in the last 22 days, a case of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) officials who work for the benefit of the contractor have emerged forward.
Instead of taking action and diving contractors for poor work, the Department of Civic’s body health engineering, using its own money to reconstruct space on the waste pathway on the newly built cement road even though there is a period of accountability (DLP).
This department reconstructed two such rooms in Sahakar Nagar through a private contractor involved.
An engineer from the Department of Public Works (PhD) confirmed that DLP five years had not yet hosted.
“Maybe, DLP the road began three years ago.
The road was conducted and rebuilt with funds approved by Devendra Fadnivis during his term as CM,” he said.
The Public Health Engineering Department should notify the PhD and complete the work of the contractor who built the cement road.
This problem also extends to other roads.
Chambers on the waste line has been damaged on the construction project again Khamla Road which has not been completed.
The situation is the same on other cement roads built under phase-II and phase-III.
One room reconstruction requires Rs 20,000 or more.
There are many rooms like that on one street.
Corporator Congress Kamshesh Chaudhary accused it was a large irregularity and loss of public money.
“Two contractors have benefited from Largesse NMC Over the years if it was built in the right method, “he said.
In many places, the cover in the room is temporarily placed above the level of concrete road which has a threat to the driver.
The stench also comes from the room too.
There are no third-party agents or separate departments in NMC to take care of the DLP contractor period that can save public money and prevent such irregularities.
Officials from Laxmi Nagar Zone said they did not have information about DLP on Jalan Sahakar Nagar.
“We will verify and recover the reconstruction costs of the contractor,” they said.
The Chairperson of the Committee continued to prakash Bhoyar said he would examine the newly built cement road and began actions against contractors and responsible officials.
Four cases ‘Nexus’ * a contractor prepared a fake contract for eight companies by preparing files, falsify the official signature and suck crores.
Fake contracts worth around Rs 5 Crore to 4 departments and investigations against others that occur.
Officials and staff of the 4 departments involved * Citing information obtained under RTI Act, Corporator Corporator Sandip Sandip Sandip Sauhare accused the officials purchased by more than 200 types of materials at market prices.
Materials obtained from many contractors with higher rates.
Working on the construction project back on Jalan Khamla is also ugly
