Nagpur: Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has bought two street sweepers, using funds approved by the central government under the National Clean Air Program (NCAP).
These machines will first sprinkle water and then sweep using mechanical brooms, especially the main cement road.

“Vehicle traffic on the main roads increases early in the morning and therefore it is difficult for sanitation workers to sweep them.

The company from Delhi, who delivered the machine, has claimed that one unit can clean a distance of 8-10 kilometers in one hour.
