Nagpur: With the intention of bringing order on the city road by ensuring that there is no vehicle parking, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) plans to fill the nominal parking fee through the QR Code card, said Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari.

Two-wheeled lakh and more than 2.50 lakh four wheels are registered in Nagpur.
“Parking haphazardly blocks traffic when drivers do not use designated places that are intended by NMC or traffic police,” he said.
If the vehicle is parked in designated places, traffic will not be blocked and the civil body will also get income.

Sucking ideas, Daga said parking fees will be charged digitally from residents using the QR code.
Emphasis will be placed on the provision of parking facilities at a nominal cost.
Parking on the market and on the streets will be smoother and NMC will get income.
The driver must recharge the vehicle card every month.
The flying squad will be formed to monitor and curb illegal parking.
