Nagpur: Quoting it as a gift to Nagpurians at the 75th Republican Night, all political parties at the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) General Agency decided to provide tax exemptions to residential property and below.
The decision tends to take advantage of more than 2.5 Lakh property owners but causes the loss of RS120 Crore to the civil bodies who lack money.
Toi on January 5 has reported about the NMC property tax consulting committee decision to recommend the exception of the Mumbai line.
The proposal was submitted before the General Body on Tuesday.
