Nagpur: The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) on Tuesday issued a notification to BJP MLA Krishna Khopde for violating Covid House Guidelines for isolation, just hours after his appearance at a public event.
Khopde has tweeted on January 13th about positive testing and should be in home isolation for a week.
Facing a counter-attack on his actions, MLA Term Three of East Nagpur claimed that a NMC health official who gave him ‘green light’ for steps outside.
“When I was positive, NMC Health Officer Dr.
Sanjay Chilkar told me that if I had no symptoms after three days later I was free to go out.
There are no guidelines like that.
Instead of three days, I was quarantined myself for five days, “Khopde said.
He himself accepted that Tuesday should be the sixth day of isolation.
“On Tuesday morning I called Dr.
Chilkar and said that I had finished five days and I was without any symptoms.
Dr.
Chilkar told me that I was now free and no one was worried about, “Khopde said.
“He told me very clearly that if after three days there were no symptoms, there was no problem,” Khopde added.
Then on that day, Khopde released a video quoting the same.
However, when Ti spoke to Dr.
Chilkar he denied giving MLA every “green signal” to move around in public.
“The MLA asked me how long he had to stay at the isolation house and I told him that the current guidelines for quarantine seven days.
In fact, I even added that in the last three days you have asymptomatic, “said Dr.
Chilkar, who he was under the house of isolation.
A few hours after this now ‘dispute’ telephone conversation with Dr.
Chilkar, BJP MLA led the delegation of the Lakadganj police station to file a complaint against Congress MLA Nana Patole for political controversy.
The event was also attended by the strength by BJP to see many party members, including the Head of the City of Pravin Datke, standing close to Khopde.

Tejinder Singh Renu, Secretary of Vidarbha Taxpayer Association (VTA) said, “If the number of cases increases, sanctions will be imposed on trade and business.
With these restrictions, all suffer from the region, including the nation, by a decline in tax collection.
Therefore, it is strongly recommended that all political parties follow the Covid protocol and guidelines so that cases remain controlled and residents do not suffer.
” Sanket Hirde’s businessman expressed the sadness of the violation of the rise of Covid protocols by political leaders.
“If the case continues to increase, parliamentarians will impose a lock and we will return to being a victim without our fault.
The government must treat all the same violators and put these leaders behind bars, “Hirde said.

The police did not register violations against Khopde for violating guidelines related to isolation.
“We have sent a letter to NMC looking for details about when Khopde is positive and what guidelines.
Our investigation is underway, “said Jaipurkar.
