Nagpur: After delaying for two years, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) wants the construction of Metro Mall to be completed in 30 months.
The NMC project department has submitted a proposal in this case before the permanent committee will meet on November 10 recently, NMC has chosen a private agent who has agreed to pay RS10 Crore more than the RS45 Crore Offer number.
NMC has floated tenders to build eight floors consisting of shopping centers, restaurants and multiplex with rooftop restaurants.
The mall, which is a phase-i scheme from the City Street street project, will be a public-private partnership project.
The Civic Body has drifted tender in October 2019.
Basic price of RS45 Crore is set for 35,000 square meters of land where the mall will appear.
NMC has completed Pressur Ved Infrastructure Company Ltd which agreed to pay RS55.55 Crore.
Now, the NMC will sign the MoU with the company.
Previously, NMC had roamed Mahametro for the construction of the mall on December 20, 2018.
Mahametro should finish the project in 18 months but can complete construction only reach the base level.
The project department has also proposed a payment-wise payment that will be made by the company to civilian bodies.
According to the proposal, within 60 days after the appointment, the company must pay RS2 Crore in the first installment and RS3 Crore in six months.
In addition, 14 more proposals will be submitted before the panel meeting standing led by the chairman of Bhoyar.
Like a panel meeting standing before, NMC which was ruled by BJP had proposed to brand 12 road tar and change road tar into concrete cement.
Other proposed works included laying the rs49.88 lakh sewer line in the line of trouble in Gaddigodam, the construction of the Wrained Wall in Shivaji Nagar under the Gandhibagh zone.
For this purpose, the NMC has proposed to spend RS88.20 lakh.
