NMC reaches minority institutions, many take 1st jab now

Nagpur: Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has begun to reach minority institutions and pockets where many of which take the first dose of the covid vaccine only now.

Endem Nadeem added that many have not taken vaccines also including people on blood thinners.
“Users of anti-platelet drugs can safely take vaccines even when continuing treatment.
Other classes of heart patients are those who use anti-coagulants.
They need doctor’s advice, but can be affixed after the evaluation,” he said.
Cardiologist Dr.
Aziz Khan said vaccination was the only protection of severe illness.
“People must avoid all doubts about the vaccine.
They must immediately talk to the doctor.
Now, the third wave of Covid is anticipated.
Even if you test positively, vaccination will help reduce the severity of the disease,” he said.
That Khan added that people worry about side effects and general myths.
“Some fall prey to freezing rumors and heart attacks.
Complications are rare after vaccination,” he added.
