Nagpur: Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) on Tuesday said he had received 580 complaints from patients regarding the excess bills charged by private hospitals who treated them to Coronavirus.
The statement was made by the additional NMC Commissioner of Ram Joshi in a written statement on the Nagpur bench of the High Court (HC).

According to Joshi, the Civic body has received 425 complaints – including the one submitted by the former Mayor of Sandip Joshi – against the hospital until June 2 and in the last three weeks, 125 is more added.
“From them, 496 was finally praised by NMC.
However, despite detailed and reasonable orders, many hospitals have not obeyed.
Besides that, 84 complaints were sent to their respective hospitals according to the direction of HC.
