Nagpur: Despite caring for more than half of the city waste, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has failed to get ‘Air Plus’ recognition from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Uni.
As a result, the NMC ranking in the next Swachh Bharat survey will be affected.
Only the city with ODF ++ certification can submit water plus status.
Because NMC already has ODF ++ certification and has maintained status in a consecutive survey, it is believed that the Civic body will easily get water plus certification.
Of the 13 city companies participating in the survey, Navi Mumbai was the only city from Maharashtra to get a water plus certification while NMC scored 500 of 700 marks in the water plus category.
The water output was announced last week but the civil body learned about his poor appearance only on Saturday, according to a senior official from the solid waste management department.
NMC has decided to challenge the low score given to IT.
As a result announced by the Urban Ministry, NMC scored 3% and referred to as failing in the category of resolted water reuse.
The Civic body also failed to examine garbage disposal in Nolah throughout the city.
Civil Body scores zero in operating costs and maintenance network sewer / processing plant sewerage recovers through special income streams or by users.
Of the 39 public toilets, the central team was examined, mostly received a very good or very clean sign, the official said.
NMC is the country’s first city company to treat waste disposal, which is claimed by officials.
At present, the city treats around 330mLD from waste more than 500mld produced every day.
“NMC also produces R 60 Crore income per year from the sale of waste treated to two thermal power stations,” officials said.
As an official, all of these efforts validate NMC claims to get a percent sign in the sensen category.
NMC has approached the office of the Director of the Mission Mission of Salaat Salaat and demanded the revaluation of city markings.
“We have urged the State Director to approach the Urban Union Ministry to challenge signs.
We should have a 100% mark in this category,” he said.
NMC secures good comments in complaint complaints status, completing complaints relating to gutter choking, leakage in water logging, water cleaning, septic tank cleaning etc.
25% of the treatment treated again * Nagpur City produces more than 500 mold waste, caring for 330 MLD and reuse 320 MLD water by supplying it to the power plant near Nagpur City
