Nagpur: Despite caring for more than half of the city waste, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has failed to get ‘Air Plus’ recognition from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Uni.
As a result, the NMC ranking in the next Swachh Bharat survey will be affected.
Only the city with ODF ++ certification can submit water plus status.
Because NMC already has ODF ++ certification and has maintained status in a consecutive survey, it is believed that the Civic body will easily get water plus certification.
Of the 13 city companies participating in the survey, Navi Mumbai was the only city from Maharashtra to get a water plus certification while NMC scored 500 of 700 marks in the water plus category.
The water output was announced last week but the civil body learned about his poor appearance only on Saturday, according to a senior official from the solid waste management department.
NMC has decided to challenge the low score given to IT.

NMC has approached the office of the Director of the Mission Mission of Salaat Salaat and demanded the revaluation of city markings.
“We have urged the State Director to approach the Urban Union Ministry to challenge signs.
