Navi Mumbai: In an effort to improve the Covid-19 vaccination process in the region, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has now launched an inoculation drive for residents of beds.
Head of NMMC Abhijit Bangar has told that the medical worker team will visit the beneficiary residence and manage Jab.
Medical officers from all civilian health centers within the NMMC limit have been asked to gather information on patients in bed in their respective zones.
This vaccine will be given to the residents only after receiving a certificate from a doctor / medical expert treats them.
The Helpline number has also been launched by NMMC where residents who have family members of beds in their homes can call and share their information for vaccination at home.
“Residents can call on 022-27567460 or contact the nearest Civic Health Center to utilize Jab for their family members lying in bed,” Bangar said.
Vaccination drives will be carried out based on doses available with civil bodies, he added.
