NMMC offers financial assistance to Covid widows

Navi Mumbai: NMMC has launched a scheme to help women who lose their husbands for Covid.
This is probably the first civil body to finance entrepreneurs by providing Rs 1 lakh to purchase equipment.
It also provides Rs 1.5 lakh for Covid widows as a one-time assistance / compensation.
Applicants can submit a wedding registration certificate or family ration card, children’s birth certificate, aadhaar card from partners for assistance.
