NMR services are canceled indefinitely: Nilgiri Mountain Railway (NMR) services have been canceled indefinitely for repair work after large stones fall on the railway line.
NMR services were affected from October 7 after large stones fell on the railroad between the Kallar – Hillgrove train station.
While restoration work was hampered due to continuous rain in the following days, works continued a few days later.
Because the work was not finished, it was decided to cancel the train for an unlimited period.
