Gurgaon: Air quality in Gurgaon continues to be in the ‘very poor’ category with the city that recorded AQI 368 on Tuesday.
Aqi is 369 years old on Monday.
According to the state pollution control board Haryana (HSPCB), air quality can even change ‘severe’ in the next few days because it reduces the wind speed and drops the temperature.
The average wind speed decreases up to 8 km / h on Tuesday from 10 km / h Monday.
On Tuesday, three of the four air monitoring stations in Gurgaon recorded AQI in the ‘very poor’ category.
Aqi ‘very poor’ can cause “respiratory disease in prolonged exposure”, according to the Central Polution Control Board.
Murah Pahia monitoring station recorded the highest AQI 386, followed by Vikas Sadan with AQI 373 and Sector 51 with AQI 345.
Aqi in Teri Gram was not recorded on Tuesday because it was not enough.
HSPCB officials said that the authority of citizenship and other institutions followed all steps, according to the Responses (Grap) action plan.
“In addition to sprinkling water on the road and sweeping the road, the institution carries out a strict prohibition on disposal and burning of garbage,” said Kuldeep Singh, HSPCB, HSPCB.
On Monday, HSPCB officials have shown that the burning of garbage in several parts of the city contributes to increasing pollutants.
According to the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD), Gurgaon recorded a minimum temperature of 13 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
The current low temperature prevents the spread of pollutants closer to the ground, air quality experts said.
Meanwhile, Delhi’s air quality turned back ‘severe’ on Tuesday because the city recorded AQI 404, up from 390 on Monday.
However, the contribution of the stump on PM2.5 Delhi was reduced from 30% on Monday to 27% on Tuesday, according to the air quality system and weather forecasting and research (Safar).
Following the same trend, the air quality at Faridabad again changed “severe” on Tuesday.
On Monday, Aqi Faridabad was 360 in the ‘very bad’ category but on Tuesday, it became 430.
“With the area which currently witnesses a decrease in minimum temperature, pollutants tend to live in a lower atmosphere, making air quality cannot be placed, “Said an IMD official.
