New Delhi: Cricket is the most popular sport in this country is no secret.
Sports are played throughout the country and almost all states and Union Territories produce quality cricket that does it well on the domestic stage, before the cream of the plant goes to represent the country.
Jammu and Kashmir (J & K) are one area where cricket is also very popular.
Children throughout the sports play area.
However, high-quality infrastructure, overall coaching and guidance are mostly lost.
Within several times, cricket from Jammu and Kashmir like Abdul Samad, Rasikh Salam and Parvez Rasool had done well.
The third has become part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) team.
In fact, Rasool, all-round-spinning, also wore a Jersey of the Indian team and has played one ODI and one T20i.
Former Indian Serba Yusuf Pathhan, who is a brand ambassador from the cricket for J & K, recently met around 50 starter crickets from Kupwara, Handwara, bandipora and border of the district as part of the workshop held in Srinagar.
Yusuf felt there were many talent crickets in Jammu and Kashmir and children needed the right guidance and direction.
“(Abdul) Samad, Rasikh (Greetings), (Parvez) Rasool is a cricket who has gone ahead and plays on the IPL.
Rasool played for India too.
They have made a name for themselves.
There is no scarcity of talent in Kashmir and all What they need is guidance and direction.
There are some extraordinary talents in Kashmir, “said Yusuf Timesofindia.com in an exclusive interview from Kashmir.
“They have limited infrastructure but they produce good cricket, which is a very big thing.
The Indian Army is involved in it.
Be it shoes, hats, sweatshirts or equipment, the Indian Army is doing a lot for these children.
I have been Seeing children who can bowl at full speed, can hit the ball out of the park and there are some who live while agile.
They need the right direction and platform.
” Yusuf, with the help of the Indian Army, has visited various regions in Kashmir, including Kupwara, Handwara, bandipora and district side by side, and meet children and play cricket with them.
“There is a big and crazy excitement among children in Kashmir.
They want to play cricket and love this game a lot.
The Indian Army is doing a lot for these children.
They organize tournaments and competitions for these children to create that environment different.
This step has helped these children a lot now, they just want to play cricket “I’ve talked to a number of children – all I want to say is that they show a lot of interest in cricket and they want to learn every bit that.
I was really happy to see this, “Yusuf, who played 57 Odis and 22 T20IS for India between 2007 and 2012, further said.
It is not easy for children in the clockwear and Kashmir to follow their passion.
Sports is one area that also suffers.
But for years certain efforts have been made to try and increase the overall position of sports in the region and also to try and increase interest in sports among children.
The Real Kashmir Football Club is wrong One step.
After destroying the 2014 flood in the region, which caused a large loss of life and property, the editor of the local newspaper and a local businessman came together to keep children who had lost a lot during the floods involved.
From an outreach program, the idea changed into the creation of a soccer club affiliated with the Association of Jammu and Kashmir Football.
Estate Kashmir Finally went to be promoted to the I-League.
“Sports are encouragement drivers and giving psychological boost.
This will always make you motivated and determined.
When you are involved in sports, you will not be disturbed by anything.
Your mind will not be involved in negative thoughts.
Sports like medicine for all this .
“Not only Kashmir, there are other places in our country where children take drug addiction and are involved in other negative practices.
Still sports these children are involved.
They will be motivated and determined to do well in life and will stay away from negatives and destructive activities, “Yusuf, who is part of India 2007 World Cup T20 and 2011 campaign won the World Cup, signed.
