Mangaluru: After the increase in the case of Covid-19 in Kasaragod Kerala Regency, the inter-state bus service between Mangaluru and the border district will remain suspended for another week.
The Karnataka Development Program (KDP) meeting chaired by the District Minister Dakshina Kannada Shrinivas Poojary City in Daskhina Kannada ZP Office on Monday decided that bus services between Dakshina Kannada and Kerala should not start in the next week.
“It is difficult to save tabs on all passengers traveling on this route.
Also, allowing buses between countries will affect our Covid control measures.
We can make the right decision after observing the Kasaragod District Daily Pointsites for the next one week,” said Minister.
Bus services on the inter-country route are suspended after the Karnatakaka government declares locking again from April 27.
