No change in Gasoline and Gas prices on Saturday

NEW DELHI: A day after the increase, petroleum marketing companies (OMCs) on Saturday maintained pump price of gas and petrol unchanged across the nation, taking a pause using international petroleum that’s displaying signs of reducing amidst potential of Iranian petroleum hitting the markets shortly.

Thus, petrol is still costly at Friday’s amount of Rs 93.04 a litre and petrol Rs 83.80 a litre at Delhi.

Around the nation and the gas prices remained stationary on Saturday however, their retail costs varied based on the amount of local taxation.

The dip in costs has come following the continuing increase in gas prices in May that has accepted the retail cost of gas closer to historical amount of Rs 100 each litre from the city of Mumbai.

The retail cost of gas has reached Rs 99.32 a litre from town.

Petrol costs are already over Rs 100 a litre in a number of towns in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

Premium petrol continues to be hovering over that level for a while now.

From the month of May, gas costs have risen on 11 times up to now.

It has taken up the amount of gas by Rs 2.49 per year litre at Delhi.

In the same way, gas prices have increased by Rs 3.07 a litre from the capital this season.

Earlier Friday, OMC were revising gas costs on every other day for last weekly as opposed to job changes on a daily basis as has become the practice.

Under daily cost revision, OMCs revise gas and gas prices each morning benchmarking retail gas costs to some 15-day shifting average of international processed products’ costs and dollar exchange fee.

Nevertheless, in a marketplace where gas costs have to be improved invisibly, alternate day cost revision appears to be exactly the flavour.

With global crude costs at about $66 a barrel markers (lower compared to 70 it touched past week), OMCs can maintain a wristwatch and spare customers from any additional increase in gas costs for a while now.
