Ranchi: No Death is induced by Covid-19 reported from any part of the Jharkhand for the second day in a row on Friday, while 96 new cases pushed the calculation to 3,45,706, said Bulletin Department of Health.
The victim killed Covid-19 remained at 5,113, he said.
East Singhbhum and Ranchi District reported 10 new cases each followed by GiriDih (9) and eight cases each from Bokaro and Gumla.
Jharkhand now has 854 active Covid-19 cases, while 3.39, 739 patients have recovered from infection including 156 for the past 24 hours, he said.
The mortality rate in the state was recorded at 1.47%, higher than the national average of 1.30%.
The level of recovery among coronavirus patients in the country has increased to 98.27%, better than the national average of 96.90%.
Overall, 1,00.35,595 samples were tested for Covid-19 in Jharkhand, including 51,924 since Thursday, he added.
