Gurugram: City reported no Covid-19 death after a loose 16 days on Thursday.
The last time Gurugram did not have Covid’s death on January 25.
The city reported 413 new Covid cases on Thursday, down from 510 days earlier.
With this, Gurugram now has 2,487 active cases.
At 7.2%, daily peposititivity on Thursday remained the same as the previous day.
Between 9 and 28 January, the city’s position level is more than 20%.
According to the Ministry of Health, 54 Covid patients were accepted at the hospital today, while the rest were in house isolation.
Gurgaon did 5,713 tests in the last 24 hours.
The city reported 54 Covid deaths until now in 2022 – one on January 10, another on January 12, two on January 14, respectively on January 15 and 16, two on January 17, 19, 20, three on the 21st January, two on January 22, one on January 23, two on January 24, one on January 26, respectively on January 27, 29 and 30, two on January 31, two on February 1, three on February 3, three on February 4, one on February 5, February 6, one on February 7, two on February 8 and two on February 9, as many as 981 Covid patients had died since the pandemic began.
From them, 661 has comorbidity.
Although Covid crashed into the city in March 2020, the first death associated with infection was reported in May – four patients died that month.
However, the highest number of deaths was at the second wave height in May 2021, when 343 patients gave up on infection.
In April, there were 112 deaths.
In June, 85 Covid deaths were reported in Gurgaon, while the number 18 in July and three in August.
As of September and October last year, when cases declined significantly, Gurgaon did not report Covid’s death.
The city began to witness death since November.
Two Covid deaths were reported in November and December.
A total of 35 deaths were reported in January this year, and in February so far, 19 deaths have been witnessed.
Virender Chief Medical Officer Yadav said death continued for more than a week after decreasing Covid waves.
