Patna: Covid-19 curve continues to flatten Bihar as 21 people tested positive for viruses in the last 24 hours, taking the total state calculation to 7.25,518 on Tuesday.
The death toll remained unchanged at 9,649 because there was no fresh fatality reported for the fifth consecutive day on Tuesday.
The number of active cases in the country has dropped to 204 as 30 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health, seven of the 38 districts in the country now have zero active cases.
These districts are Banka, Buxar, Kaiur, Suggestions, Sheikhpura, Sheohar and Siwan.
Patna has a maximum active case at 34, SamastiPur (22), Darbhanga (18), Kishangangj (12) and Katihar (12).
Except for five regencies, no other districts have more than 10 active cases.
Of the 21 new cases that were included on Tuesday, Patna contributed four, Gopalganj, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur respectively and Begusarai, Timur Champaran, Jehana, Madgura, Munger, Purnia, Saharsa and Sapaul One.
A total of 7,15,665 people have won the battle against deadly viruses in the state so far, taking the recovery rate to 98.63%.
The level of Bihar recovery is 1.12% higher than the national average of 97.51%.
The overall level of front in Bihar reached 1.82% as 7.25 lakh infected people since March last year and 3,98,30,005 samples have been tested so far in the state.
Meanwhile, at all 3,08,48,694 beneficiaries have been given Covid vaccines in the country so far, including the first and second doses.
Overall 2.58.38,077 people have received the first dose and 50.10.617 seconds they are in the state.
