Panaji: Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant has said that there is no criminal gang operating in the state, and that not a single case has been registered in each gangster in the last five years.
The comment was almost a year after the Goa police stated that the famous Santa Cruz Shootout was the impact of competition between two gangs – Boom Boom, led by Imran BEFARI, and Bang Bang, led by Zenito Cardozo – trying to build their respective supremacy.
Last June, Santa Cruz watched a shootout in the battle between Boom Boom and Bang Bang Geng “There were no incidents that had been reported about the criminal gang operating in Goa, and no such cases have been reported so far,” Sawant said in a written reply for Legislative assembly.

When asked for the details of the number of gangsters captured by the name, address, and the type of crime being carried out, regardless of the number of weapons confiscated from them and the actions that began with them, Sawant said, “There were no such cases reported by the Goa Police in 5 last year “.
Replying to the question in connection with the details of the number of residents who were attacked / looted by gangsters in the shooting over the past five years, the main minister returned, “There were no such incidents reported by Goa Police in the last five years.” The minister’s chairman said that intelligence was collected and all staff – especially those deployed on border examination – has been directed to maintain strict surprises to the influence of illegal weapons to the country, and if anything found with illegal weapons, the same must be attached immediately and the action begins.
