Chennai: When the Tamil Nadu government has loosened restrictions of Covid-19, South Railway has attracted the rules that the multiple vaccination certificate is needed to travel on the suburban train in Chennai.
Double vaccination certificates are not needed to travel on the suburban train starting 1.
February.
People don’t need to submit a vaccination certificate to buy tickets or season tickets.
Suburban tickets will now be available in UTS applications.
Previously suspended because there was no provision to upload a vaccine certificate.
However, commuters must comply with Covid-19 behavior that are suitable such as social distance, wearing masks and hand hygiene, press releases.
