Mangaluru: This is a sign of hope for the Ministry of Health and the Dakshina Kannada people that Sullia Taluk in the district has not reported new cases of Covid-19 in the last 10 days.
Taluk has reported a positive case on November 25, and after that there was no infection found between November 6 and December 5.
Taluk also did not have a Covid-19 active case.
The Nodal Officer district for Covid-19, Dr.
Ashok H, told TOI that most of the active cases in the district were in the city of Mangalore followed by Rural Mangaloru Taluk.
As on Saturday, the active Kaseload district was 149.
While there were 66 active cases in the city of Mangaluru, Kasel in Rural Mangaloru was 33.
Meanwhile, Bantwal Taluk had 14 active cases, beltangady had nine, six cases left by patients from other districts Test positive in Dakshina Kannada, he said.

A total of 13 new cases were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district, with a 0.1% testing level.

Meanwhile, five people were tested positive for the SARS-COV-2 virus in Udupi, and this district had 78 active cases.
