Bengaluru: Special Court on Thursday rejected personal complaints against CM BS Yediyurappa, son by Vijayendra, three other relatives and four others after the governor’s refusal to approve sanctions for prosecution based on the Corruption Court on June 23.
TNNBDA Housing Project: Activists want to investigate corruption charges against the BSY Family TJ Abraham, a Bengalurubasased social activist, has submitted a complaint who seeks an investigation into the alleged Payment of RS 12 Crore bribes in the BDA housing project as revealed in TV exposure and a collection of RS 17.5 Crore or through a Shell company on behalf of the Minister of Chief Allegedly by a close family member.
Others mentioned in complaints including CM Shashidhar Maradi and Daughter-in-law of Virupakshappa YalandaMaradi; SYJAY SREE, Daughter-in-law of Yediyurappa Padmavathi; Cooperation Minister St Somashekar and Chandrakanth Ramalingam.
On November 20, 2020, social activists approached the governor who were seeking sanctions for prosecution of the chairman of the Minister and Somashekar.
“Personal complaints submitted by the applicant under the part 200 of the CRPC and the temporary application submitted below Section 156 (3) CRPC cannot be maintained in the absence of valid sanctions and in accordance with those who are rejected,” B Jayantha Kumar’s Special Judge observed in his demands , placing dependence on the Supreme Court’s decision on legitimate sanctions and shows that the accusation is centered around CM.
Abraham accused that Rs 12.5 Crore bribery paid by representatives from Ramalingam Construction Company to members of the Family CM as a substitute for permission was given to the company to continue the jammed housing project.
The complainant claimed he approached the anti-corruption bureau in November 2020 which was seeking an investigation into this case, and the body closed the case within three weeks after receiving a complaint.
