Thane / Pune: Thane’s BJP MLC Niranjan Davkhare has fired accusations that connect Kiran Gosavi, independent witnesses of narcotics control bureaus in drug cases, with their family business, saying it is a case of wrong identity and a rushed effort to slander party pictures, report manoj Badgeri & Assemh Shaikh.
Davkhare said on Saturday the campaign that became a viral immediately after NCP MLA Nawab Malik’s Friday Press Conference (claiming Gosavi, who was recently arrested, was a stakeholder in his family company) was wrong.
He said there were two different people with the same name and microbiologists called Kiran Gosavi were directors at his wife’s company.
Meanwhile, Pune Polis filed a new case against Gosavi and a woman on Friday for allegedly cheating three people around Rs 4 Lakh with the pretext of offering them jobs abroad by 2020.
