NO-MASK-NO-Class rules in Kolkata Colleges, University

Kolkata: With the campus opened on Thursday, students and staff in college and universities have been asked to follow all Covid safety protocols.
The Institutes have emphasized the rules’ without masks, no classes as one of the main criteria for in-wear classes.
The list of services that will be forbidden for those who attend the physical class has also been compiled and distributed to students, many of which will go to campus for the first time in the last 22 months.
Separate sops have been prepared for students using laboratories and libraries too.
On Wednesday, SanitiSation was conducted in several universities in preparing for student welcoming again.
However, the authorities decided to continue with the hybrid class simultaneously because some students outside the station had not moved to the city.
The campus was officially reopened from February 3, although many universities have decided to call students just from next week and so on.
“All stakeholders have been asked to follow all Covid safety protocols as recommended by the government, including wearing masks at any time when on campus.
Social distance must also be followed by students and teachers,” said Asok Mukhopadhyay, headmaster Seth Anandram Jaipuria College.
The campus was closed earlier this year because of the increase in Covid cases in the third wave.
This happened after several senior batches were called to campus for physical classes in mid-November.
“We have compiled a list of facilities to be forbidden for students for now as precautions.
The canteen, public space, union room, reading and auditorium will be closed now to prevent crowding and close contact,” said a goenka college of commerce and administration Business.
While some colleges decided to reopen next week and so on, many advanced with the physical class from Thursday itself.
“Since universities reopened in mid-November for a short period, we already have all infrastructure.
Routine has been shared with students,” said a College Church Scottish official.
In many colleges, students who need the use of laboratories have been divided into small groups to avoid crowding.
Most universities have decided to start with batches that need the use of laboratories.
“There is a batch that has not trained in the laboratory for the past 22 months.
So, we have decided to prioritize them and start with the students,” said the Principal of Women’s College.
