No more queues, Pvt Hompon delayed a list of names of bottles

Kolkata: a sharp decline in the recipient has made some private hospitals in Kolkata delay the demand for fresh vaccines for the second time since July.
While the queue for the longer dose in the CVC managed by the government, private hospitals are left with sufficient doses to survive at least two more weeks.
Many saw the receiver almost 50% last month.
At Peerless Hospital, for example, the number of recipients has dipped firmally since mid-July.
The hospital now has 7,000 doses in inventory and plans to find new stocks only in September.
“From more than 600 days, the number of recipients has dropped to around 300.
At this level, our stock will last throughout a month.
So we will not look for new shares before September,” said CEO of Peerless Hospital Sudipta Mitra.
The sudden decrease in demand in private CVC was caused by the gap between the first and second doses for the population of 18-45.
Because most of them took their first shot in June-July, there would be no second runch before September-October.
“Vaccines are available free in government centers.
It has taken a crowd from us.
Secondly, with Covid numbers slid down, many still delay their first dose,” said a hospital head.
Amri has 15,000 doses in inventory and with daily administration on average around 800-1000, the hospital will wait until the end of August before making a request.
“We have planned requests this week but it will not be needed because the number of recipients remains low since last month.
In our three hospitals and our Avenue medical center, we only gave 800.
The queue had been shortened in two malls that had become the center outside the location We, “said CEO Amri Rupak Barua.
The RN Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences (RTIICS) has bought 35,000 covishield doses last month.
“Our daily consumption has dipped from 1,200 per day 45 days that return to around 400-500 now.
We can manage our existing stock for the next one and a half months.
We did not find the need to request new supplies this month,” Zonal Chief said RTIIK R Venkatesh.
The Woodlands Hospital has a stock of 25,000 current doses and vaccinates more than 600 every day on average.
But it won’t place this month’s order.
The hospital expects its shares to last until the end of August.
“The number will rise because the second dose of Covishield is scheduled for the next few weeks.
This projection is 25,000 doses in August.
For September, we will place an order for 30,000 doses,” said the executive director Rupali Basu.
