‘No need to be afraid of covid numbers’

Kochi: The state government after a meeting with experts on Wednesday said there was no need to worry about the increase in the number of Covid patients and that the spread of infection would be immediately controlled because vaccination had developed well in the state.
This meeting emphasizes the need to open the economic and social sectors in the state, in addition to educational institutions.
They also discuss new strategies that can be adopted in testing and immunization to prevent the spread of disease.

IMA, Kerala, and even officials of the Kerala government medical officer association were not invited to meetings.
