No need to panel to review AFSPA in J & K: LG Sinha

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday said no need to establish any panel to review the AFSPA (AFSPA) laws in the Union region.
He also denied allegations that outsiders were allowed to buy large amounts of land.
Responding to the question after inaugurating the first real estate summit at Jammu on whether he felt the need to establish a panel to review or revoke AFSPA as he was doing in Nagaland, Sinha said: “I am experienced well with the situation and there is no need for it …
You don’t need to Worried about it.
“The center on Sundays is a high-level committee, led by a rank secretary officer, to examine the possibility of lifting controversial AFSPA in Nagaland, which seems to move to calm tensions in the northeastern state after the murder of 14 civilians.
Responding to other questions about several leaders who raised concerns about the government that allowed people from other states to buy land and allow more private investment in UT, he said: “I refused this directly.
I will not react to the leader’s statement.
..
there was an attempt to mislead and incite people with certain parts.
there will be no change in demographics.
“Rejecting concerns ‘no work’ to locals, he cited the example of how a large number of local people to get a job in power projects Water, tunnels, and highways at J & K.
Take opponents and critics, Sinha says that there are “certain people” who do not want ordinary people in UT to get the benefits made by others in India.
