‘No one died of lack of oxygen’: Congress MP KC Venugopal Moves Notification of Privileges to MOS Health

New Delhi: Two days after the government claimed to be in Rajya Sabha who did not die in the country because of lack of oxygen during the Coronavirus pandemic, Congress’ Rajya Sabha MP KC Venugopal, who has asked questions to the government, transferring the movement of the privileges to the Minister of State for Bharati Pawar, accused him of misleading home and people in the country.
Hours before he submitted the notice, Venugopal said, “This is a blind government and does not care.

In the written response to Venugopal on July 20, Pawar said, “Detailed guidelines for death reporting have been issued by the Ministry of Health of the Union to all countries and UTS.
Thus, all countries report cases and deaths for the UNI Ministry regularly.
However, no Death due to lack of oxygen has been specially reported by the State and UTS.
