No order after 10pm: Noida Cops slap at night on food delivery

Noida: Noida residents who tried to order late night food had been above a rough surprise for the last two days because the popular Swiggy and Zomato food aggregator had stopped all home delivery during the night-night, which was at 10pm and 6am, in compliance with The police command followed the murder of the cloud kitchen owner at Greater Noida earlier this week.
It was issued by the Noida Police Commissioner on Wednesday night, the Order forbade Takeaway services as well as those hours.
This step not only causes confusion, with the District Administration says it is not aware of any restrictions on home delivery, it has also attracted a sharp reaction from the owner of the hotel who was afraid of losing income.
Blanket prohibitions suddenly on delivery are also mainly affected by people who live alone who cannot or have no time to cook and those who work late shift.
In two orders issued recently by the additional Secretary Additional Awanish Awasthi on August 21 and ADG (Law and order) Prashant Kumar on August 31, there was no mention of the sidewalk at home.
It was also confirmed by Lucknow’s headquarters from the police.
In other districts such as Ghaziabad and Lucknow, home delivery continues as usual.
Police Commissioner GB Nagar Alok Kumar Singh said home delivery will continue “except for curfew”.
Adg Kumar, who ordered August 31 found mentioning in the command of Police GB Nagar, said they only reaffirmed the state of the state government.
“(There) no one oppose takeaway / home services.
Only the time mentioned,” he added.
Indicates that the state government orders do not mention labor at all, additional DCP (Law and order) Ashutosh Dwivedi said, “legally, there is no problem because the government has not declared home delivery of important service.
The hotel and restaurant are open during the main part of the day and Orders can end up faster.
People can be encouraged to order before.
“However, district administrative officials said they did not know about the sidewalk at home.
ADM (Finance) Vandita Srivastava said because the police had issued orders, they could be contacted.
A senior administrative official told TII that prohibiting home delivery in cities like Noida impossible.
“While home delivery is placed under the important category of service in the first wave, there is no guideline during the second wave.
In most districts, home delivery has continued based on verbal directives,” he said.
The hotel owner said they looked at losing business and demanding that orders be drawn.
Varun Khera, President of Chapter Noida from the Indian National Restaurants Association, said while shipping the house had been running comfortably during the night at night in August, they had been stopped in September.
“The hotel has recently started focusing on making a previous loss because there are several meal services.
If one event occurs, someone cannot say it is because the kitchen owner operates at night.
A better policing can help avoid criminal incidents.
I have been looking for time From the police commissioner to discuss this issue and hope to meet him on Monday, “he said.
Some residents of Toi spoke, especially those who worked from home, said the move was far from Welcome.
“I’m used to ordering food through the online delivery platform at night every time I feel hungry.
People like me must end up ordering many times while working from home,” said Pooja Bharti, a financial analyst who lives in guest accommodation paying at Sector 20.
Official SWIGGY notifications for customers say “Restaurants and important delivery services open from 6.
AM to 10pm”.
Zomato, said that it would comply with the restrictions carried out by the local authority, politely urging people “to order early dinner to help us deliver their food on a prescribed schedule”.
