No rain at Kolhapur, Sangli & Satara for Several days: IMD

KOLHAPUR: Many sections of Kolhapur, Satara and Sangli districts didn’t get rain on Sunday although the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Mumbai had predicted heavy showers in isolated areas.
The ghat parts of Kolhapur district, nevertheless, received mild rain.
A prediction by IMD Mumbai has said that Kolhapur, Satara and Sangli districts won’t expereience any rain activity during the upcoming few days.
The weather section has temporarily removed all rain-related alarms.
The water rates of Panchganga and Krishna rivers also have receded.
The water amount of Panchganga has dipped into 33.6 ft from 34.2 ft by Sunday evening quantified at Rajaram barrage.
